J-Tetromino — The J-Shaped Piece

A J-shaped piece with a hook to one side. Great for filling corners and the left wall.

The J-piece has one cell attached to the left above a row of three. Its hook-like bend lets it wrap around a corner or protruding spot in the stack.

Stood upright against the left wall, it can fill a vertical notch on the wall and a floor cell at the same time, making it useful for cleaning up the left edge. It's a mirror image of the L-piece.

J and L pieces can also be rotated (wall-kicked) into tight gaps, similarly to a T-spin, which makes them all-purpose pieces for surface cleanup.
