Perfect Clear

Clear the entire board for a massive bonus.

A perfect clear (all clear) leaves the board completely empty after a line clear. Pulling one off awards an enormous bonus.

A classic setup uses the first several pieces to fill the bottom few rows without gaps and clear them all at once. Since every piece covers a multiple of 4 cells, you need to calculate the fill precisely for it to work out.

It's difficult and you can't always go for it, but pulling one off when conditions align — like right at the start of a game — can put you way ahead on score.
